Bunzl Retail Services is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer is an entry-level role and is a key member of a highly productive marketing team that promotes the Bunzl Retail Services brand. The successful candidate will be quick thinking and motivated to work both individually and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
Reporting to the Sr. Art Director, you will deliver high‑impact creative and production work that drives measurable results, supporting company objectives across branded campaigns, sales presentations, social media, email, and other marketing channels.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, enforce, and execute BRS creative services and processes including, but not limited to:
- Design digital materials including social media content, email assets, short-form video, web graphics, and educational visuals
- Presentation decks and sales collateral
- Print-ready die lines, vector artwork, vendor- and customer-facing files
- Converting files, editing PowerPoint files, and setting up templates
- Branded collateral for division-wide use
- Develop ideas and coordinate with all relevant BRS staff to ensure a proper vision and execution is achieved for each project
- Use BRS recommended design software and tools per established criteria
- Maintain on-demand reporting of all active projects
- Maintain file saving procedures by archiving native files and providing preview files within project/client folder
- Understand BRS capabilities plus standard industry manufacturing practices
- Display proficiency in graphic layout and typography, applying templates, using master pages and style sheets in PowerPoint, Word and InDesign.
- Assist with the regular updates to newly created and existing materials
- Stay current on digital design trends, tools, and emerging AI technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline preferred
- 1-3 years professional graphic design experience required
- Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Proven ability to communicate information and data effectively through the creative use of animations, infographics, and content layout
- Basic video editing and production experience preferred
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Work independently and give/receive constructive feedback
- Prioritize workflows, multi-task and shift gears within a fast-paced environment while managing and executing multiple projects at the same time
Measurements of success:
- Feedback from project owners, clients, and key stakeholders is consistently positive
- Accuracy Rate of 90% or above, (minimal number of revisions due to failure to follow process)
- Assistance in the delivery of on-time and on-budget projects
- Current sales collateral library is maintained and updated
The salary range for this position is $52,000-$62,000 based on experience, education and geographic location.
