Job Description: Jr. QA/QC Engineer - Civil

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Jr. QA/QC Engineer - Civil to join our client's team on a large-scale, high-rise building project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 1-2 years of experience to contribute to the successful delivery of a prestigious development.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine quality control inspections and tests on civil works, including structural, finishing, and infrastructure elements.
• Ensure all site activities and materials comply with project specifications, drawings, and international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with the project team to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Verify the quality of incoming materials from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements.
• Participate in site meetings and provide regular updates on the quality status of the project.
• Assist in the final handover process by ensuring all quality records are complete and accurate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, specifically on large-scale construction projects.
• Direct experience with high-rise building projects is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with relevant local and international building codes and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
