Jr. Quantity Surveyor -Water Infrastructure Projects

Position - Junior Quantity Surveyor( Water Infrastructure Projects)

Location - Dubai

We are looking for Junior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team in managing cost estimation, measurement, billing, and contract administration for water infrastructure projects such as pipelines, sewerage, and drainage systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from drawings
• Support preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
• Measure executed works on-site for pipelines, manholes, drainage, and utilities
• Assist in tracking project costs and budgets
• Maintain basic cost reports and records
• Support senior QS in monitoring variations and changes
• Prepare interim payment applications (IPA) under supervision
• Assist in subcontractor invoice verification
• Support preparation of final accounts documentation
• Maintain records of variations, measurements, and correspondence
• Assist in preparing variation orders and supporting documents
• Ensure documentation complies with contract requirements (FIDIC basics)
• Work closely with site engineers and supervisors
• Assist in resolving measurement and quantity discrepancies
• Attend site visits for measurement verification
• Update measurement sheets and cost trackers
• Prepare simple progress and commercial reports
• Maintain organized project documentation

Project Scope (Water Infrastructure)

• Water supply pipelines
• Sewerage networks
• Stormwater drainage systems
• Manholes and chambers
• Pumping stations (basic exposure)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2+ years experience in infrastructure or civil projects
• Basic knowledge of quantity take-off and BOQ preparation
• Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Basic understanding of FIDIC contracts (preferred)

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
