Location: BRIX Journey, Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, Dubai
Concept: Dessert-Only Fine Dining.

Role Overview

The Junior Waitress supports the Front of House team in delivering BRIX Journey’s signature multi-sensory dessert fine-dining experience. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, refined service etiquette, and the ability to guide guests through a 12-course dessert journey inspired by the Silk Road. The Junior Waitress plays a key part in ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless, immersive, and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver the high standard of hospitality expected from a fine-dining environment.
• Present the BRIX Journey concept clearly and assist guests in understanding the structure of the 12-course experience.
• Support senior waitstaff in executing each course with precision, timing, and consistent presentation.
• Serve dishes with refined service techniques that enhance the storytelling and sensory elements of each course.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, allergens, and the cultural inspirations behind each course.
• Ensure tables are set, presented, and maintained according to BRIX Journey standards.
• Assist with clearing, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
• Manage guest requests professionally, ensuring prompt communication with the team.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and grooming standards as required by fine-dining operations.
• Support special events, private experiences, or seasonal menu changes as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, polished guest-facing approach.
• Passion for desserts, culinary storytelling, or experiential dining concepts.
• Ability to work gracefully under pressure in a highly coordinated service environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn the BRIX Journey narrative.
• Professional appearance, teamwork mindset, and reliability in all duties.
