In this role at Mindtel, you will be responsible for assisting in managing logistics operations to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and customers to facilitate timely deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting in stock audits.
- Preparing shipping documentation and managing order processing.
- Monitoring and analyzing supply chain performance metrics.
- Resolving any logistics-related issues that arise during the transportation process.
- Supporting the logistics manager in planning and executing logistics strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics processes.
- Communicating regularly with stakeholders to update on shipment progress.
- Documenting and reporting any discrepancies or damages in freight delivery.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Maintaining organized filing systems for shipping and logistics documentation.
- Assisting in the implementation of logistics software and tools.
- Collaborating with team members to enhance logistics operations.
- Providing excellent customer service to resolve any inquiries or concerns.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of logistics software and systems is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service quality.
- Familiarity with shipping and customs regulations is beneficial.
