Job Title: Procurement Specialist (US Market)

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Domestic Logistics and Procurement Specialist with strong experience in the Indian market. This role will manage sourcing, supplier relations, and logistics operations within India to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining quality and vendor compliance.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in domestic procurement, vendor management, and coordination with freight carriers and warehouse teams across US.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement
- Source and evaluate domestic suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Issue purchase orders and manage order confirmations, production progress, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain vendor master data including contacts, credit terms, and product catalogs.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment with internal teams.
Domestic Logistics
- Plan and coordinate shipments via road, rail, and courier services across India.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers, transporters, and warehouse teams.
- Manage shipment documentation, including delivery challans, invoices, and transport receipts.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to warehouses and customers.
- Ensure compliance with local transportation laws and safety regulations.
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of procurement and logistics transactions.
- Analyze freight costs, delivery times, and vendor performance to recommend cost efficiencies.
- Collaborate with finance for invoice reconciliation, payment processing, and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams to align delivery schedules and order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in domestic procurement and logistics within the US market.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of Indian transportation regulations and logistics practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Tally, Zoho Inventory).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
