Jr.Piping Stress Support Engineer

Position Summary:


Design Pipe Support and perform complex stress analyses cases for critical lines; lead report preparation and mentoring; ensure compliance with ASME/API/ISO and WRC guidance; drive support selection and loads to structures.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Locate Piping supports location.
  • Design Piping Supports Steel frames
  • Perform comprehensive static.
  • Collaborate on stress Standards/ specification tasks and confirm accuracy of related documentation.
  • Buried Piping Systems: Conduct stress analysis for underground piping.
  • Draft standard & special pipe support details (springs/hangers/guides/struts) and fill out data sheets.
  • Issue loads to structural/civil; confirm combinations and support types.
  • Prepare and sign off stress sketches and reports for owned systems.
  • Review isometrics and piping arrangements for constructability and support adequacy.


Qualifications required:


  • B.Sc. (Mechanical or Civil).
  • Design Steel Structure Frames.
  • Solid command of ASME B31.3/B31.1, API equipment codes, and WRC bulletin application in CAESAR II workflows.
  • Experience with 3D modeling programs (e.g., AVEVA, Auto Plant 3D, Smart Plant 3D) and AutoCAD.
  • 0-2 years of experience with engineering roles within industries like Power, Oil & Gas, or Fertilizers.
