Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Juice Department Manager role in Vancouver, WA. - Manage the manufacturing of all juice and concentrate products in accordance with customer specifications, food safety standards, and HACCP requirements.
- Oversee processing season execution and remanufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and operating targets.
- Support demand planning for fruit and packaging materials; coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Scheduling to ensure proper inventory levels and production readiness.
- Manage department staffing and labor costs, ensuring schedules align with budgetary guidelines.
- Oversee day-to-day production operations, including coordination with cross-functional teams to meet throughput, yield/recovery, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and operational optimization.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead and develop team members to maintain a high-performing production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in food manufacturing, quality systems, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing supervisory experience with increasing responsibility (juice/concentrate experience preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of juice processing systems and equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Proven leadership experience in production operations, planning, labor management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check (including employment and education verification), and credit screen.
- Willingness to work extended schedules and weekends during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November).
- $105,000 – $110,000/year competitive salary.
