Juice Department Manager

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Juice Department Manager role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the manufacturing of all juice and concentrate products in accordance with customer specifications, food safety standards, and HACCP requirements.
  • Oversee processing season execution and remanufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and operating targets.
  • Support demand planning for fruit and packaging materials; coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Scheduling to ensure proper inventory levels and production readiness.
  • Manage department staffing and labor costs, ensuring schedules align with budgetary guidelines.
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, including coordination with cross-functional teams to meet throughput, yield/recovery, quality, and delivery expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and operational optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and develop team members to maintain a high-performing production environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food manufacturing, quality systems, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing supervisory experience with increasing responsibility (juice/concentrate experience preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of juice processing systems and equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in production operations, planning, labor management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check (including employment and education verification), and credit screen.
  • Willingness to work extended schedules and weekends during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November).
