Junior Accountant

Zahr Freighters is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their accounting skills while contributing to the smooth financial operations of a growing logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records
• Record day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and verify financial data
• Support in preparing invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve payment and billing issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
