Junior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Zoho Books or other Zoho accounting platforms, with a background in the tourism industry, and be available to join immediately. The role involves assisting in daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and update financial records using Zoho Books.
• Generate and review invoices, payment receipts, and expense reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and prepare necessary reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams for financial documentation and approvals.
• Support audit and financial reporting processes.
• Handle petty cash and employee reimbursements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (UAE and tourism industry experience preferred).
• Proficient in Zoho Books or Zoho Finance Suite.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and general accounting principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be based in the UAE and available to join immediately.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a similar role within Dubai’s tourism or hospitality sector.
• Familiarity with other cloud-based accounting tools is a plus.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
