Junior Accountant

Role Summary

The Junior Accountant will support the Finance & Accounts team in daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry, reconciliations, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all areas of accounting and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare and process invoices, expense claims, and payment vouchers.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and petty cash accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for financial queries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and UAE VAT requirements.
• Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and schedules.
