Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant who will assist with a variety of accounting tasks to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the management of day-to-day accounting operations.

- Perform general ledger accounting functions as needed to ensure department functions are completed accurately and promptly.

- Handle expense booking, provision, and accruals.

- Data entry - invoices and expenses.

- Issue POs and verify purchases.

- Maintain proper filing and records retention for accounting documents.

- Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.

- Process credit memos and follow up on outstanding payments.

- Prepare monthly billing reports and manage account balances, resolving any inconsistencies.

- Report credit limit deficiencies.

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.

- Update accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances, and customer contact details.

- Expertly manage a high volume of invoices and billing documents.

- Resolve complex billing issues in a timely manner.

- Maintain billing activity reports and ensure accurate tracking of billing processes.

- Liaise with other departments to collect signed invoices and ensure accurate billing.

- Enforce company policies and procedures related to billing.

- Prepare and maintain billing documents in an organized manner.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

- 1-2 years of relevant experience in AR, AP, and GL accounting.

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work both independently and within a team.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Must be a hard-working team player with a positive attitude.

- Available to join immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
