Junior Accountant

Pay: 2,000.00 (AED) - 3,000.00 (AED) per month

Job description:

Junior Accountant is a junior position within the accounting division of Al Saheeh Group. Candidate must be a team player, proactive and should have knowledge of UAE Taxation Regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Candidate responsibilities are:

• Manage the day to day and petty cash accounts of the companies
• Follow up with clients for payment
• Reconcile payment received, and prepare statements
• Keep a record of the company books as per FTA guidelines
• Prepare account statements, invoices and other documentation as per requirement
• Create salary documentation and documentation for submission to WPS
• Verify account statements, purchase documents and other financial documents
• Create reports regarding projects and be actively involved in their costing and other duties
• Monitor and advise the company management on the financial status of the companies and steps that can be taken to improve the financial status
• Understand and adhere to all pertinent FTA laws and ensure that the company procedures follow the laws
• Draft letters and documentation for accounting activities as needed in coordination with other divisions

Qualifications:

• B.B.A/B.Com or similar
• A prior experience of two years managing the financials of companies in construction and maintenance.
