Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting the accounting department in day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Maintain general ledger entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Help prepare tax filings and assist with audits as needed
• Maintain organized documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships count)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance

Salary: 10K – 18K
