Office Accountant

Location: Mumbai (Office-Based)

Role Overview:
The Office Accountant will handle project accounting, vendor payments, expense tracking, and financial reporting to ensure smooth financial operations between the site office and head office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and records of project expenses.
  • Manage vendor invoices, purchase orders, and timely payments.
  • Prepare monthly expense statements, cash flow reports, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor budgets, track project-related costs, and highlight variances.
  • Coordinate with site team, consultants, and contractors for financial documentation.
  • Assist in audits, compliance, and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
  • Support the project management team in procurement and cost control.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
  • 3–6 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in construction, hospitality, or real estate projects.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
