Como Lounge is a vibrant café restaurant dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience through quality food, drinks, and service. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team and manage our financial operations.

Job Description:

The Accountant will oversee financial data, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, as well as analyze financial performance against targets.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prepare tax returns, and liaise with external auditors when necessary.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Assist in financial forecasting and provide strategic financial recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to address financial queries and provide insight into financial data.
• Oversee inventory tracking and management, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
• Stay updated with accounting regulations and trends to ensure best practices.
• Cooperate and negotiate with company's suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with management and team members.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• A strong candidate must know how to professionally collaborate and negotiate with suppliers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
