Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant (E-Commerce)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our growing e-commerce business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling accounts, reconciliations, and financial records with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, ledgers, and books of accounts
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms
• Manage GST entries, returns, and compliance
• Prepare invoices, debit/credit notes, and expense reports
• Track sales, returns, and refunds across online marketplaces
• Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Junior Accountant (preferably in e-commerce/retail industry)
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and GST
• Experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Relevant accounting certification will be an added advantage

Experience:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹10,277.87 - ₹28,590.28 per month
