Junior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of accounting experience in the construction or interior fit-out industry, with strong knowledge of daily accounting operations, year-end closing, and bank payment preparation.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and supporting management with timely and reliable financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare supplier payments through online banking and ensure proper approvals.
• Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue client invoices and follow up on collections.
• Support VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE FTA regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all accounting files are properly organized.
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, and project departments for accounting-related matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in the construction or fit-out industry (UAE experience preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of VAT and corporate tax procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
