Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accountant for a Steel & Iron Trading Firm. The candidate should have hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting activities and be capable of supporting senior accounts staff while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries including sales, purchase, cash, bank, and journal vouchers.
• Assist in preparation of GST returns, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
• Support TDS calculation and filing under supervision.
• Maintain vendor and customer ledger accounts and perform periodic reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of monthly accounts and MIS reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and records as per accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants as required.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Junior Accountant, preferably in a Steel / Iron Trading Firm.
• Working knowledge of Tally/accounting software and MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS compliances.
• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: 15,000 – 25,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
Benefits will be as per company policy.
