Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred (Freshers can also apply)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, assisting in daily accounting tasks, and ensuring accurate data entry using Tally software. Candidates with basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in Tally are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries
• Perform daily accounting tasks such as vouchers, invoices, and billing
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Record transactions in Tally accurately
• Assist in bank reconciliation and expense tracking
• Support senior accountant in financial reporting and documentation
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; freshers can also apply
• Must have knowledge of Tally (mandatory)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic communication skills
