Junior Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will interact closely with our internal departments (Shipping, Purchasing, Inside Sales, Quality, Production and Service) to oversee the daily operations and perform financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, expenses claims, bank reconciliations, capital expenditures, office admins and ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily operations of the accounting department including journal entries, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, account payables, receivables, general ledger, capital assets.

· Establish and maintain files and records to document transactions for compliance and audit purposes.

· Manage month-end and year-end closing.

· Follow accounting policies and procedures aligned with company targets.

· Preparing tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.

· Work closely with corporate office in Germany on intercompany transactions.

· Complete various tasks/projects assigned by the Chief financial officer and/or the Management team.

Requirements:

· Solid knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, laws, and regulations

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Experience with MS Office (specifically Excel, familiar with basic formulas, Lookups, Pivot Table)

· Ability to prioritize work.

· Manufacturing background a plus.

· SAP experience a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
