Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with strong data entry skills to join our car servicing company. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting team in various financial tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and assisting with financial analysis. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger accounts, invoices, receipts, and other relevant documentation.
• Reconcile and balance accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports under the guidance of senior accountants.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and conducting reconciliations.
• Help analyze financial data and contribute to financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to accounting and data entry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in data entry or bookkeeping is desirable but not mandatory. Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant internships will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and professional growth.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry or car servicing operations is a plus.
