Junior Accountant

Job Description :
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant with 2 years of experience, specializing in daily entries, collections, and invoice management. The ideal candidate will support our accounting team by ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily Entries: Accurately record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system, -ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

-Invoice Management: Prepare, issue, and monitor invoices, ensuring timely delivery and accurate billing information.

- Collections: Manage collections by following up on outstanding invoices, communicating with clients, and resolving payment discrepancies.-Manage cash handling, execute banking transactions and visits, perform bank reconciliations, and oversee collections.

- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed.

- Financial Reporting: Contribute to preparing monthly financial statements and reports as required.

- Data Entry: Maintain organized financial records and accurately input data into accounting software.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the senior accounting team to streamline processes and improve financial operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 2 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in daily entries, collections, and invoices.

-Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
-Preferred: Previous experience in food service companies (nutrition sector experience is a plus).
-Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
-Effective communication and organizational abilities.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.-Residence in or ability to relocate to Hurghada is a must.
