Junior Accountant

Accounting People is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors with offices in London and Islamabad. Our team consists of fully qualified and experienced professionals delivering high-quality accounting, bookkeeping, audit, and tax services.

As a rapidly growing firm with a strong track record of new business wins, we are expanding our Islamabad office and are looking to recruit Junior Accountants . The Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting and bookkeeping assignments. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, along with the opportunity to progress within the firm and complete your ACCA qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, LLPs, and Charities
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Performing bookkeeping and payroll duties
• Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
• Assisting senior team members with client assignments
  
  

Candidate Requirements

Strict adherence to the following criteria is required. Applications that do not meet all essential requirements will not be considered.

• ACCA Affiliate or minimum ACCA finalist (1-2 exams remaining).
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  
  

Additional Requirements

Eligible candidates with the following additional attributes will be preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero and other accounting softwares.
• Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent technical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.

• Up to PKR 100,000.
