Junior Accountant

Khadlaj Perfumes is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support month-end closing activities, and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations. Job Timing: 8AM to 6PM

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipt vouchers.
• Assist in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory-related accounting records.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support VAT documentation, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Mandatory experience using Tally ERP.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
