Junior Accountant

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: AED 6,000 - 8,000

Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join a well-established group of companies based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will support the finance team in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Records

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries.
• Record daily transactions including payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Assist in preparing and filing VAT returns in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.

Bank & Account Reconciliation

• Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger verification.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and documentation.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for management review.
• Support auditors during internal and external audits.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company financial policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience

• 2–3 years accounting experience in UAE required

Key Skills

• Financial reporting and bookkeeping
• Accounts payable & receivable management
• Bank reconciliation
• Knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
