Junior Accountant cum Purchase Officer

Royal Destinations Hospitality Services is looking for Junior Accountant cum Purchase Officer. A Junior Accountant cum Purchase Officer for our Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai outlets with cost control skills manages daily bookkeeping, vendor negotiations, procurement processing, and budget tracking. They act as a vital link between finance and operations by auditing costs, matching invoices to purchase orders, and preventing corporate overspending.

Core Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Reconcile daily financial transactions, bank statements, and petty cash.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and maintain general ledgers.
• Assist senior staff with month-end and year-end closing processes

Purchasing & Procurement

• Issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), request vendor quotations, and negotiate pricing.
• Maintain supplier databases and verify the validity of debts before processing payments.
• Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Cost Control

• Track actual project or operational expenses against the approved budget to identify variances.
• Prepare periodic cost reports for management review.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and suggest value-engineering solutions to reduce company expenditures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the UAE, preferably within F&B industry.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience using ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE corporate policies and VAT compliance is highly preferred.
