Junior Accountant (SAP Certified)

Selection Criteria

• Hands-on practical work experience on SAP is mandatory
• Only candidates with actual SAP previous work experience will be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process daily accounting transactions in SAP (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger).
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, journal vouchers, and payment entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations in SAP.
• Assist in inventory accounting, stock adjustments, and cost allocations.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, operations, and other departments for financial data and clarifications.
• Assist in tax calculations and compliance, including:
• Withholding tax (WHT) Sales tax (where applicable) Other statutory deductions as per Pakistan tax laws
• Support preparation of data for FBR filings and statutory reporting, as required.
• Perform any other accounting or finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com / BBA / BS Finance) or a related field.
• SAP Certification (Mandatory)
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate or professional environment.
• Basic understanding of Pakistan Accounting Standards
• Working knowledge of Pakistan tax regulations (Income Tax & Sales Tax – basic level).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of other accounting systems. Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
