Job Description

Icon Global (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with strong expertise in QuickBooks Desktop and MS Excel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating with freight forwarders, and handling purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and record all financial transactions on time
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, vendor payments, and customer billing
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate
• Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment updates and related documentation
• Support purchasing activities, including vendor coordination and order processing
• Assist in preparing financial reports and month-end closing tasks
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal accounting procedures
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and MS Excel
• Good understanding of basic accounting concepts (journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, etc.)
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors and freight forwarders
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• High attention to detail and accuracy
