An AI Solutions Architect in healthcare designs and implements AI-powered solutions to improve healthcare systems and workflows. This role involves translating business needs into technical solutions, integrating AI technologies, and ensuring the solutions are efficient, scalable, and compliant. Key responsibilities include guiding AI adoption, designing AI solutions, and engaging with healthcare professionals to promote AI applications. As AI Solutions Architect, act as a bridge between the business and technical aspects of AI adoption, ensuring that AI solutions are effectively implemented to improve patient outcomes and healthcare operations. This position is part of the Business Intelligence sub-department reporting to the Senior Director of Data Strategy
Guiding AI Adoption: Leading stakeholders through the entire AI implementation process, from requirements gathering to deployment and optimization.
Designing AI Solutions: Developing and optimizing AI solutions tailored for healthcare applications, including generative AI workflows for clinical, operational, and patient-centered care.
Engaging Stakeholders: Collaborating with healthcare professionals, IT managers, and other stakeholders to promote the adoption of AI-powered solutions.
Architecting Generative AI Workflows: Designing and implementing workflows for generative AI, such as synthetic data generation and fine-tuning reasoning models.
Building scalable AI Program design and mentoring key technical team members and departmental subject matter experts to sustain successfully implemented solutions.
Staying Updated on AI Advancements: Keeping abreast of the latest AI developments in healthcare and applying them to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

High School Diploma or GED required
Technical Expertise: Strong background in Software and/or Application Development, database design, Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), AI-driven automation including autonomous agents, large language models (LLMs), and/or data engineering. Programming Languages preferred: SQL, Python, Java, C++, C#, R, Julia, Scala. Preferred experience: Proven practice in designing and implementing AI solutions, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare processes, regulations, and specific challenges within the industry.
Communication and Collaboration: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, work collaboratively with various teams, project manage own projects when needed, and possess strong organizational skills.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, assess the potential impact of AI solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
