Synopsis
Perform aircraft maintenance activities, rectify defects, and provide support to the Licensed Aircraft Engineer in line with operational requirements to ensure the safety of flight operations.
Accountabilities

Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical data and, in that respect, keep oneself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued, as well as general/technical information.

Ensure maximum attention is given to on-time performance by assuring that all materials, tooling, and equipment, along with associated documentation, are prepared in advance for the task at hand.

Inform and consult with the Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) as required to enable the LAE to maintain a complete overview of the aircraft.

Maintain a Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free working area and clean up the bay area before and after work.

Develop oneself and increase aircraft knowledge with the ultimate goal of further career development.

Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution.

Proactively participate in all health and safety matters.

Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the company's ethos.

Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct labels attached.

Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in a serviceable condition or clearly labeled if defective.
Education & Experience

Must be a UAE national with a valid family book.

Hold a Diploma with GCAA B1.1/B2 Certificate of Recognition (COR) or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering.

Have completed an apprenticeship with an airline or approved organization or received equivalent formal training.

Demonstrate proficiency in English (writing, reading, and speaking).

For male candidates, must have completed or been permanently exempted from UAE National Service.
