Junior Application Security

• Support application security testing for web and API-based applications.
• Assist in running and tuning SAST, DAST, dependency, and container security tools.
• Help integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in threat modeling and secure design reviews.
• Validate findings and work with development teams on remediation.
• Review applications against OWASP Top 10 and secure coding best practices.
• Help document security standards, guidelines, and playbooks.
• Support alignment with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.

Required Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of experience in application security, DevSecOps, software development, or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of:
• Web applications and APIs
• Common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Bash).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps workflows and technology stack.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in Application Security and DevSecOps.
