McBride Homes has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented Junior Architect to join our dynamic team! As a Junior Architect, you will assist with the design, development, and execution of residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in residential architecture while working alongside professionals on diverse and exciting projects. This is an in-office position working in our new state-of-the-art facility in Chesterfield Valley.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 with ability to gain licensure. $70,000 -$90,000 with 2-5 years' experience with a license.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of residential home plans, layouts, and elevations.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Collaborate with senior architects to refine and implement design ideas.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance.
• Help prepare presentations, mood boards, and design renderings for client meetings.
• Assist with permit applications and construction documentation.
• Work with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to address design challenges.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar.
• Knowledge of residential design principles and building codes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous internship or work experience in residential design is a plus but not required.
