Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement
- Meet with clients to understand project requirements, vision, and budget.
- Prepare proposals, scope of work, and fee agreements.
- Provide regular updates and manage client expectations.
- Concept & Design Development
- Produce initial design concepts, sketches, and mood boards.
- Develop schematic and detailed designs aligned with client needs and site conditions.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations to communicate ideas clearly.
- Technical Documentation
- Prepare architectural drawings and technical details for permits and construction.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
- Coordinate with freelance consultants (structural, MEP, landscape) if required.
- Project Coordination
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants during different project phases.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and coordinate approvals.
- Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation.
- Time & Budget Management
- Plan project schedules, set deliverables, and manage deadlines independently.
- Monitor costs to stay within the client’s budget.
- Track hours worked against agreed freelance contract terms.
- Business & Professional Development
- Maintain a professional portfolio and update personal brand/website.
- Network with potential clients, developers, and consultants.
- Stay updated with design trends, software, and building standards.
Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp/Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong visualization & presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of construction detailing, local building codes, and authority approvals.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: AED100.00 - AED200.00 per month
