Junior Architect

One Works is seeking a Junior Architect to join our team in our Dubai office and support a high- profile airport development project in the region. The successful candidate will support the supervision team in overseeing architectural construction activities on site, ensuring the contractor’s works comply with design intent, project specifications, and client requirements.

Job requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in airport projects.

· Minimum 10 years of post-graduate professional experience.

· Experience in the role of Project Supervision Architect for large-scale and complex building or infrastructure projects.

· Knowledge of drafting and design software, minimum Autodesk Revit.

· Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English.

· Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

· Ability to independently resolve design-related and site-related issues.

· Experience in GCC projects is preferred.

· Availability to mobilise at short notice is preferable.

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Report to the Senior Architect within the Supervision Team.

· Oversee architectural aspects of the airport development project to ensure compliance with client requirements and project expectations.

· Be based full-time at the project site office for an airport terminal expansion project in the UAE.

· Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, address design-related issues, and coordinate with the design and client teams.

· Conduct site inspections of contractor works to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

· Coordinate with multidisciplinary consulting teams to resolve technical and interface issues.

· Monitor contractor performance and ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations and client requirements.

· Support project documentation, coordination meetings, and progress reporting activities.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
