Position: Junior Assistant / Executive Assistant – Accounts

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Assistant / Executive Assistant (Accounts) to provide administrative and accounting support to ensure smooth and efficient office and finance operations. This role is suitable for a detail-oriented professional with strong coordination skills and hands-on accounting support experience.

Job Summary

The Junior Assistant / Executive Assistant (Accounts) will be responsible for day-to-day administrative and clerical support, document management, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting accounting and payment-related activities. The role plays a key part in maintaining organized records, accurate reconciliations, and timely financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage document version control, filing, and retrieval of records.
  • Assist in preparing official documents, letters, and reports as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all office documents and sensitive information.
  • Maintain and update confidential databases, contact lists, and project-related documentation.

Communication & Coordination

  • Support internal communication through memos, emails, and notices.
  • Coordinate with government offices, vendors, clients, and consultants as directed.
  • Ensure timely dissemination and follow-up of information and key decisions.

Accounting & Finance Support

  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconciliation of various account ledgers.
  • Prepare policy-related and corporate payments.
  • Maintain and file payment vouchers and supporting documents.
  • Handle collection of cash, DDs, TTs, adjustments, and remit daily collections to the bank.
  • Prepare cash books and scroll books.
  • Support ULIP accounting and reconciliation activities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and modern productivity tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and financial records.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a structured environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in administrative and accounts support roles, preferably supporting senior management.
