We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Assistant / Executive Assistant (Claims) to support administrative and claims processing activities. This role is ideal for an organized and customer-focused professional with experience in insurance claims handling and strong coordination skills.

Job Summary

The Junior Assistant / Executive Assistant (Claims) will provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support while assisting in claims processing and customer interactions. The role involves document management, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, claims follow-ups, and support in AML/KYC-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage document version control, filing, and retrieval of records.
  • Assist in preparing official documents, letters, and reports as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all office documents and sensitive information.
  • Maintain and update confidential databases, contact lists, and project-related documentation.

Communication & Coordination

  • Support internal communication through memos, emails, and notices.
  • Coordinate with government offices, vendors, clients, and consultants as directed.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of information and follow-up on key decisions.

Claims Processing & Customer Support

  • Handle maturity and survival benefit claim intimations, processing, and settlements.
  • Process and settle annuity, death, disability, and other outstanding claims.
  • Follow up on pending claims to ensure timely resolution.
  • Attend to email queries and walk-in customers related to claims.
  • Provide support to the Deputy MLRO on AML/KYC-related activities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and modern productivity tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and correspondence.
  • Customer-oriented approach with the ability to manage sensitive cases professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with insurance certification. Preference will be given to candidates holding FIII from the Insurance Institute of India.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in insurance claims administration or support roles, preferably within the life insurance sector.
