Position: Junior Assistant – New Business

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Junior Assistant (New Business) to support daily administrative and clerical operations. This role is ideal for a reliable and well-organized professional with strong coordination and communication skills.

Job Summary

The Junior Assistant (New Business) will provide general administrative and office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role involves document control, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, support to new business processes, and maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage document version control, filing, and retrieval of records.
  • Assist in preparing official documents, letters, and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of office documents and sensitive information.
  • Update and maintain confidential databases, contact lists, and project files.

Communication & Coordination

  • Support internal communication through memos, emails, and notices.
  • Coordinate with government offices, vendors, clients, and consultants as directed.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of information and follow-up on key actions.

New Business & Office Support

  • Preparation of new business files and policy documentation.
  • Policy stamping, packing, and scanning of new business policy files.
  • Bank and exchange-related tasks.
  • Recording and distribution of inbound correspondence.
  • Office-related outdoor work and driving, as required.
  • Providing and attending to refreshment requirements for officers and visitors.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: High School certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in administrative or office support roles, preferably supporting senior management.
