Experience: 1–2 years (Professional or strong hands-on project experience)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering from:

FAST, LUMS, UET, GCU, or Punjab University (PU)

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Node.js and NestJS to join our onsite engineering team in Johar Town. The role involves building scalable backend services and APIs for production systems deployed on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS or GCP
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams
• Debug issues and optimize application performance

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and NestJS
• Experience building REST APIs
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of Git / GitHub
• Understanding of databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB)
• Basic understanding of authentication & authorization (JWT, roles)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to microservices
• Experience with background jobs / queues
