Junior Business Analyst

Job Summary

The Junior Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging operational and sales initiatives and the successful execution of PMO-driven projects. This role ensures that improvement requests are organized into structured projects, tracked to completion, and supported during post-launch “hyper care” to drive smooth adoption. By coordinating across operations, sales, and IT, the associate helps ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively and that business users receive the support needed after deployment.

This is a highly analytical and strategic role that requires strong research capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination

  • Gather, organize, and document operational and sales requests for process or system improvements.
  • Assist in defining the project scope, timelines, and deliverables for new initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional project meetings and ensure action items are tracked and completed.

2. Implementation Support

  • Assist with the execution of projects, ensuring alignment with operational and sales goals.
  • Provide coordination between business stakeholders and IT teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Track project milestones and escalate risks or blockers as needed.

3. Hyper-care and Post Implementation

  • Support IT and business teams during post-project hyper-care, ensuring issues are logged, prioritized, and resolved quickly.
  • Monitor adoption of new tools and processes, gathering feedback from users.
  • Assist in preparing post-implementation summaries and lessons learned.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and IT to align priorities and support execution.
  • Develop clear, organized requirements for future or current projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, business operations, or IT support.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across functions.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and processes is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and analytical rigor.
  • Experience working in or with sales, marketing, or product teams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Latin American and Asian markets and business practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin or other regional languages are a plus.
