The Junior Environmental Analyst will work as part of a team to assist EPA and other government agencies with administering environmental regulatory compliance and enforcement programs. The analyst will work primarily under our Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) Enforcement Support Contracts with EPA Regions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, but may also work on other enforcement contracts, researching and compiling evidence to characterize contamination and identify potentially responsible parties (PRPs) at hazardous waste sites. Training on conducting PRP search investigations will be provided. Superior research, writing, and analytical skills are essential to this position, as is an interest in helping government agencies enforce their environmental laws and regulations.

This position's target hiring rate range is non-exempt, $21.63 to $25.48 per hour. Pay consideration is given based on geographic location, relevant work experience, and education. This is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation at the time of posting.
