At BABA ROMA, we are a casual dining café known for our exceptional variety of patisserie, pastry, and bakery delights. Our menu also includes elegant comfort food for a wonderful dine-in experience, as well as a wide selection of grab-and-go offerings. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding gastronomic experiences to all our guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Leadership & Operations Management :

  • Oversee the daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.

2.Maintain high levels of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness:

  • Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in working condition, arranging maintenance as required.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control stock levels to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)

3. Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Uphold high standards of presentation and quality for all food and beverages served.
  • Gather customer feedback and implement strategies to improve service and offerings.

4. Staff Management & Development

  • Lead, train, and motivate the café team, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Recruit and onboard new employees as needed, ensuring they meet brand standards.

5. Sales & Revenue Management:

  • Drive sales and profitability by implementing promotional activities and upselling techniques.
  • Monitor daily sales reports, analyze performance, and implement strategies for growth.
  • managing waste, optimizing portion sizes, and improving efficiency.

6. Marketing & Brand Representation

  • Ensure the café maintains brand consistency in service, décor, and overall ambiance.
  • Engage with customers and the local community to build brand loyalty and awareness.

KEY REQUIREMENTS / CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, Cafe Supervisor or similar role in the F&B industry.
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong background in coffee, bakery, and casual dining operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and create a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations in the UAE.
  • Strong background in coffee, bakery, and casual dining operations.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and working with ERP software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Cafe Supervisor/Manager: 2 years (Required)
  • F&B Café/Restaurant handling: 2 years (Required)
  • Casual dining operations: 2 years (Required)
