Job Description

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and continuous delivery practices. This role is designed for a motivated professional who can grow into a leadership position within our CI/CD department. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery, automate infrastructure, and ensure reliable deployments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for software applications.
• Work with developers to integrate code, run automated builds/tests, and ensure smooth deployments.
• Implement and manage DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Support cloud infrastructure setup, monitoring, and automation (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Collaborate with QA teams to integrate automated testing into pipelines.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensure security and compliance are part of the DevOps process (DevSecOps mindset).
• Document processes, share knowledge, and gradually take ownership of CI/CD strategy.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent.

Specific Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Strong problem-solving, scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell), and troubleshooting skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into a leadership role in CI/CD and DevOps.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
