Junior Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and manage construction projects from start to completion. The role involves site supervision, quality control, coordination with consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with drawings/specifications, and maintaining project timelines, safety, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities on-site.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedule.
• Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Check materials, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, measurements, and variation works.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed on-site.
• Identify site issues and propose practical solutions.
• Support inspections, testing, approvals, and handover documentation.
• Maintain records of site activities, manpower, materials, and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil construction/site engineering.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting tools.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements is an advantage.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
