Junior Data Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our team and assist in managing our data infrastructure. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering and contribute to the optimisation of our data processes as well as development of our Data & AI products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support data integration from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Collaborate with analysts to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment tasks.
• Help optimise database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of our data infrastructure.
• Document processes and create technical documentation for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and a programming language (Python, R, JavaScript, etc.).
• An interest in learning more about Cloud Architecture.
• Familiarity with data science concepts and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Interview Process:

• Stage 1: 15 mins initial screening call on Teams.
• Stage 2: 30-45 mins coworking data assignment on Teams.
• Stage 3: 1 hour face to face interview and office visit.
