Junior Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and analysis of mechanical components and systems across diverse industrial and defense projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to translate ideas into functional designs and contribute to end-to-end project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements, scope of work, and technical objectives.
• Plan and execute internal tasks to ensure timely project delivery.
• Develop design concepts through brainstorming, preliminary sketches, and 3D modeling.
• Prepare detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and validation.
• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate and optimize design concepts.
• Perform basic design calculations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Support engineering simulations and analyses (structural, thermal, motion, etc.).
• Prepare clear and concise design and analysis reports.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback for improvements.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including CAD files, drawings, and reports.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project leads for guidance and updates.
