Role Overview

We are hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer who understands the basics of how modern applications are built, deployed, and maintained. This role is for someone at the start of their DevOps career , you’ll work under guidance, learn fast, and gradually take ownership of deployments and infrastructure tasks.

This is not a fresh-graduate-with-zero-knowledge role. You should already be comfortable with Linux, Git, and basic cloud concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development and staging environments
• Support application deployments using Docker
• Help manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Perform basic Linux system administration tasks
• Monitor logs, alerts, and system performance; escalate issues when needed
• Assist with infrastructure automation and scripting
• Support backups, security updates, and access management
• Document deployment steps, issues, and fixes

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of Linux (files, permissions, processes)
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts
• Introductory experience with Docker
• Basic understanding of cloud services (EC2, storage, IAM concepts)
• Willingness to learn scripting (Bash / basic Python)
• Ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot with guidance
