Junior Draughtsman

Job Purpose

To assist in preparing accurate technical drawings for swimming pool and landscape projects, ensuring designs meet project requirements, standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed 2D drawings for swimming pools, landscaping, hardscape, and related works.

· Assist in developing shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings.

· Interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.

· Modify drawings based on site feedback and engineer/client comments.

· Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and design teams.

· Maintain organized drawing records and revision logs.

· Ensure drawings comply with local authority and project standards.

Requirements

· Diploma/ITI/Certification in Drafting or Civil Engineering.

· 1–3 years of experience (preferred experience in swimming pools or landscaping).

· Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).

· Basic knowledge of pool systems, piping layouts, and landscape materials is a plus.

· Ability to work under guidance and meet deadlines.

Skills & Competencies

· Good attention to detail and accuracy.

· Basic understanding of construction drawings.

· Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred (Good to Have)

· Experience in swimming pool detailing.

· Experience in landscape layout drawings.

· Familiarity with local building standards.
