The Civil Engineer would primarily be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed according to design specifications, budget, and schedule, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

​Project Execution & Site Management

​Site Supervision: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to the project schedule and construction plan.

​Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Conduct regular inspections of work to ensure it meets technical specifications, quality standards, and relevant building codes/regulations.

​Safety Compliance: Implement and strictly enforce all health and safety protocols on site to minimize risks and ensure the well-being of all personnel.

​Resource Management: Efficiently manage and track the use of labor, materials, and equipment to prevent waste and control costs.

​Problem-Solving: Address and resolve immediate technical and logistical issues that arise during construction, making necessary on-site adjustments.

​Planning, Design & Technical Duties

​Design Interpretation: Carefully review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints.

​Calculation and Estimation: Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare engineering calculations, and assist in estimating project costs, including labor and materials.

​Feasibility Assessment: Participate in initial site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability and site conditions (e.g., soil and topography).

​Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all construction activities and designs comply with local, state, and federal laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.

​Communication & Reporting

​Coordination: Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal management.

​Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, inspection logs, and material receipts.

​Progress Reporting: Communicate project status, progress, and any potential performance issues or deviations to senior management.

​Qualifications

​Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.

​Experience: Proven experience (depending on the seniority of the role) in civil construction projects, preferably in residential or commercial buildings.

​Technical Skills

​Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/modeling software.

​Familiarity with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for tracking).

​Strong understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and building materials.

​Soft Skills

​Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead site teams, coordinate workers, and collaborate effectively with diverse professionals.

​Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to reviewing drawings, specifications, and on-site work quality.

​Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to anticipate and resolve construction and design issues.

​Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
