Junior Etimator

1. Pre-Contract Support:

• Assist Senior Estimators in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for fit-out projects.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs (QTOs) from architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs for all fit-out trades (partitions, ceilings, joinery, finishes, MEP).
• Source and obtain competitive quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and material vendors.
• Help maintain and update the company’s cost databases, material price libraries, and sample library.
• Prepare clear and organized tender documentation, schedules, and comparison spreadsheets for review.
• Assist in site visits and surveys to understand project scope and conditions.

2. Post-Contract Support:

• Assist in the handover of awarded projects to the operations team, helping to clarify the priced tender scope.
• Support the tracking and pricing of project variations (VOs) and change orders.
• Help with the preparation of cost-to-complete forecasts and interim valuation data.
• Aid in the analysis of subcontractor interim applications and invoices against original estimates.
• Maintain organized filing of project documentation for final account purposes.

3. Analytical & Administrative Duties:

• Utilize good analytical skills to check and verify quantities, rates, and mathematical calculations.
• Analyze subcontractor quotes for compliance, completeness, and best value.
• Support the team in market research for new materials, products, and suppliers.
• Ensure all estimating documents are accurately filed and version-controlled.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
